Y’all know Jesus read Jeremiah 10 right?
So y’all know He is not about to associate His Birthday nor His name with anything His Father dislikes right?
And really! He is not about to buy a Trick-a-Tree and sit it up in His home right?
*Peep this. Not only did Jesus read Jeremiah 10, but He basically said it. Let me help you with that:
Jesus said unto them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” And/or: Jesus saith unto him, “Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?”
🛑 Trick-a-Tree: Why I Don’t Celebrate

Said it once before and I’m just saying it again because somebody should. People ask why I don’t do the celebrated Christmas; and the answer is simple: Y’all know Jesus read Jeremiah 10 right?
And think about it. If you believe Jesus is the “I AM” (Before Abraham was I Am ) that He existed long before Abraham and that to see Him is to see the Father; then you know He was there when the Word was given in Jeremiah:
“For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest... they deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.” (Jeremiah 10:3-4)
Do you really think He’s going to associate His name or His birthday with a custom His Father already called out? Do you think He’s going to set up in His home what He told His prophets to warn us about?
He doesn’t change His mind just because the calendar flipped. It’s time to stop following the “customs of the people” and start looking at the truth the preachers won’t tell you and the politicians can’t afford to admit.
HOLIDAY SEASON OR NOT?
Well that’s depending on whether you’re a Christian or not! Traditionally Xmas Eve til the “New Year” day is accounted as a “Holiday Season”. We’ve already discussed the Trick-a-Tree day so let’s move on to the New Year. And for the sake of brevity and urgency at which the world seems to operate these days I’ll make things short. For even Christians are on this speed boat 🙂. Microwave ovens, Cellphones, and Passenger’s Trains that fly by you like they were supposed to be at their destination yesterday! Not saying I don’t indulge.
🤔Ok! New Years. Sorry bout that.
God said regarding times and calendars “This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you [Exodus 12]. Remember God is God regardless of your ethnicity. So don’t play! If you want to celebrate the month God designated as the first of the year (Nisan), you would begin on the evening of March 18, 2026.

For your 2026 calendar, these two milestones land as follows:
Ecclesiastical / Biblical New Year (1 Nisan) 2026 Date: Begins at sunset on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. (The first full day ends Thursday at sunset, March 19) = God’s New Year!
Passover Eve (Nisan 14): Begins at sunset on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 Ends Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at nightfall (this is the evening of Nisan 21st) = The Passover! {Exact dates change yearly; ask AI}.
